BATTLE STANDARDS

Banners or Standards were used in ancient times for military, national and
ecclesiastical purposes such as they are today. The words occur often in the
figurative sense of a rallying point for God’s people. They become a personal
declaration of our proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"We will shout for joy
when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May
the LORD grant all your requests" Psalms 20:5
"But for those who fear you, you
have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow. Selah" Psalms 60:4
"The
LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten
can look at it and live." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole.
Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he
lived." Numbers 21:8-9

Victory, deliverance, joy, worship in dance, fullness of GOD’s Glory
"Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of
the saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in
their King. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with
tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the
humble with salvation. Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on
their beds. May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in
their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,
to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry
out the sentence written against them. This is the glory of all his saints.
Praise the LORD." Psalms 149.

Jesus will overflow on account of me." Philippians 1:23-26

goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there
is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature
with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step
with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."

Jehovah colors, Heaven, Grace
"But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant
of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better
promises. For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place
would have been sought for another. But God found fault with the people and
said: "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the
covenant I made with their with their forefathers when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. This is the covenant I will make
with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws
in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they
will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his
brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord’, because they will all know me, from the least
of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember
their sins no more." By calling this covenant "new", he has made the first one
obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear." Hebrews 8:6-13.

to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth,

bring glory to me by taking what is mine and making it known to you." John
